Types of Advertising
For marketers, the new year is exciting and challenging. Amid the limited resources, There is a need to continue building and increasing brand/product awareness to support future expansion. However, given the limited budget for both companies and costumers, there will be noticeable cuts in brand advertisements and increase in pre-purchase communications. Ad sponsors must manage their budget and make careful selection as to the type or types of advertising to use in order to effectively get their message across. Any location paid by a sponsor to deliver a message through any medium is advertising.

Transit advertising
Among the commercial advertising media that advertisers can use are wall paintings, billboards, street furniture components, printed flyers and rack cards, radio, cinema and television adverts, web banners, mobile telephone screens, shopping carts, Web pop-ups, sky writing, bus stop benches, human billboards, magazines, newspapers, town criers, sides of buses, aerial billboards and banners that includes logo jets and heli ads, in-flight advertisements on seat back tray tables or overhead storage bins, taxicab doors, roof mounts and passenger screens, musical stage shows, subway platforms and trains, elastic bands on disposable diaper, stickers on apples in supermarkets, shopping cart handles or grabertising, the opening section of streaming audio and video, posters, and the backs of event tickets and supermarket receipts.
